Is there any way to change the useful life of a particular asset and calculate depreciation on NBV?

Currently below is the depreciation amount being calculated for the legacy assets in the system

Adjusted Cost - 162071.59

Life in Months - 60

Deprn Method _ STL

RA -1

Monthly deprn = 162071.59/60/1=2701.193

However we now want that our the depreciation amount from July should be 9454.18. The expectation is assets depreciation amount should be calculated as "Net Book Value/Useful Life"= "Depreciation Amount".

For example for Asset A-SPH124 expected Net Book Value= "85087.58" Useful Life= "9 months" Dep Amount= "9454.18".

We will do an Adjustment (enter unplanned depreciation amount of "28362.53") which will help us to give the expected depreciation amount from July.

Is there any way to change the useful life of a particular asset of a particular book and make the calculation instead of Original cost to Netbook Value and also after the change is done can we revert back to the original change that was there.

Howdy, Stranger!
