Why is Purchase Order line price showing in 'List'?

Summary:

We are creating Purchase Order manually. While adding the Price to the PO line, the 'Price' field is non-editable. It allows us to add the price in 'List' field. Any idea why there is a separate 'List' field?

We checked another environment from the same version (25B) and it did not have this field. Is there any set-up that controls the visibility of 'List' field?
