OIC Integrations is not giving proper error notifications for email failure

Summary:

There are two types of notifications in the integrations:
One is triggered from the Lookup, which uses a fixed email address. This should not result in an error.
The other is triggered from the Order, which uses a dynamic email address. This should raise an error if the email address is invalid.
However, in this case, both notifications are showing as failed. Is there a way to capture or be notified of the exception when a notification fails?
