Why are you making changes to direct reports field to be made mandatory when there are direct report

Summary:

In Fusion HCM, every transaction workflow requires an 'Action Reason' to explain why changes are being made. However, we have observed instances where Assignment Changes are being processed without an Action Reason in myHR. This often occurs when users Reassign Existing Reports during workflows such as Termination, Promotion and Local Transfer without filling out the required field 'Why are you making changes to direct reports?'.

When users neglect to complete this field, it results in missing Action Reason for the Direct Report's Change Manager assignment. The Action Reason is important because it provides context for why an assignment change occurred at a specific time. Without this information, the Assignment History does not accurately reflect an employee's Employment History.
