OIC Connectivity Agent connection is unstable

Summary:

We have many integrations between Oracle OIC gen3 and a private on-prem machine. We've managed to install a connectivity agent and test the connection between the two sides many times successfully. However, after a while, we've noticed the connection is not stable at all from the on-prem machine side! One minute, the agent status is Active, and the very next minute it's Unavailable, which causes the OIC integrations to fail.

Is there anything that could be done to keep the agent up and running stably all the time from the on-prem side?

The strange thing is that we're following the same installation steps for the connectivity agent on a private machine that we're using to connect to an Oracle Exadata database, and the agent has been running stably for months.
