Will "Users and Roles" under My Team have a Redwood equivalent

Summary:

I do not see it in the "HCM_Redwood_Profile_Options_25C" spreadsheet of Doc ID 2922407.1

We use "Users and Roles" under My Team for the following:

1.Link an Employee record to a different existing user account (needed sometimes because we have an integration that loads Employees and User Accounts and sometimes we have an issue as a result of which we need to make this change)

2.Populate Resource Information: Resource Role, Reporting Manager and Organization.

3.Apart from that it is a user friendly way to change e.g. Business Unit, Job, Department, Location, Manager when needed.

But my main concern is with point 1 because this is the only place where I know it is possible to make this change. It is possible to add Resource information somewhere else (Others → Resource Directory) but not to link an employee record to another existing user account. My questions:
