Clarification on Re-import Behavior for Incentive Compensation Transactions

Hello, Oracle Experts.

While testing the re-import process for Incentive Compensation Transactions using the File Import and Export work area, we observed some unexpected behavior and would like to confirm if this is intended.

We re-imported a transaction using the same Transaction Number, with the "Preserve Transaction" attribute set to True on the existing record (which had previous data revisions). After a successful import, we noticed that:

The original transaction appears to be overwritten or deleted.
A new transaction is created using the data from the CSV file.
All previous changes, including child credit records, are removed.
Is this the expected behavior when re-importing with the same Transaction Number and "Preserve Transaction" set to True?
