We have a business requirement to support split-tier pricing based on recurring pallet quantities within the same sales order line. This is a common scenario in bulk and logistics-based businesses.
Use Case:
- A pallet contains 360 units.
- If the customer orders in full pallet quantities, we offer a discounted unit price (e.g., $2.00 per unit).
- Any excess units (above the pallet multiple) should be priced at the standard rate (e.g., $2.50 per unit).
- For example:
- If a customer orders 365 units, the system should:
- Price the first 360 units at $2.00, and
- Price the remaining 5 units at $2.50.
