Enable Split-Tier Pricing for Pallet Quantities in Oracle Fusion Pricing

Summary:

We have a business requirement to support split-tier pricing based on recurring pallet quantities within the same sales order line. This is a common scenario in bulk and logistics-based businesses.

Use Case:

  • A pallet contains 360 units.
  • If the customer orders in full pallet quantities, we offer a discounted unit price (e.g., $2.00 per unit).
  • Any excess units (above the pallet multiple) should be priced at the standard rate (e.g., $2.50 per unit).
  • For example:
    • If a customer orders 365 units, the system should:
      • Price the first 360 units at $2.00, and
      • Price the remaining 5 units at $2.50.

Currently, Fusion Pricing only allows quantity-based price breaks
