Sourcing Rules and Capacity Constraints in Fusion Supply Planning for Multi-Org Fulfillment

Summary:

Hello Oracle Community,

I’m working with Oracle Fusion Supply Planning and have a scenario involving a make item (MPS planned) that needs to be fulfilled from two different organizations (Org A and Org B).

  • The item has a consistent demand.
  • I want the supply plan to first fulfill this demand from Org A, which has a daily capacity constraint (e.g., 24 hrs/day availability), and then have the remaining unmet demand fulfilled from Org B.
  • Org A and Org B are both manufacturing sources for this component item.

My question is:

How can I model this correctly in the system using sourcing rules and assignment sets, such that the supply plan respects Org A’s capacity limit and routes the excess demand to Org B automatically?

Howdy, Stranger!
