Oracle Linux - Cannot find Ksplice Uptrack information for your kernel version

APPLIES TO:
• Oracle Linux running UEK kernel
• Systems using Ksplice and managed by OSMH
SYMPTOMS:
Ksplice fails with the following error during patching or OSMH job:
exit status 1:
Cannot find Ksplice Uptrack information for your kernel version
(5.15.0-310.184.5.3.el8uek.x86_64.debug #2 SMP Wed Jul 9 15:52:40 PDT 2025).
Your kernel is probably not yet supported by Ksplice Uptrack.
CHANGES:
• The system is booting into a .debug
kernel version that is not supported by Ksplice.
e.g.
[root@productionsystem ~]$ uname -r
5.15.0-310.184.5.3.el8uek.x86_64.debug
CAUSE:
The kernel in use is a debug version, and it is not supported by Ksplice
