We need your assistance in configuring a contact number generation rule in Oracle Fusion HCM

edited Aug 24, 2025 6:58AM in Human Capital Management

We would like to request assistance in configuring the contact number generation rule in Oracle Fusion HCM. Specifically, our requirement is as follows:

If the generated contact number begins with 100, we would like the system to automatically prefix it with the letter "F", resulting in a contact number format such as F100xxxx.

The goal is to ensure that all contact numbers that start with 100 follow this format, e.g., F100001, F100002, and so on.

We would appreciate your guidance on:

Whether this type of customization or configuration is supported out of the box.

If not, whether this can be achieved via Fast Formula, Descriptive Flexfields (DFF), or any supported workaround.

Howdy, Stranger!
