Can "Approve" and 'Reject" buttons be hidden within the change order when task is not claimed?

We have a requirement when making approval steps role based, the "Approve" and "Reject" buttons still appear within the actual change order when the task has not been claimed yet within BPM worklist.

Wondering if there is a way to remove those buttons to only appear when the change order has been claimed.

The buttons within the notifications do not appear unless the change order has been claimed however we want those buttons to be removed with the actual change order as well. Please do see below, these buttons are appearing before clicking claim.
