Termination on same date as assignment change effective date makes assignment record disappear

Summary:

Hi Team,

If there is a assignment change recorded on a date and on the same effective date if the Termination is performed, the Assignment change record vanishes from the UI and only the Resignation record exists. Is this is the intended behavior ? if there is a requirement to capture few information on assignment this is causing an issue.
