Best way to correct action in historical records

Hello,

I cannot recall all the details, but shortly after we went live with HCM Oracle, we started having some issues with our transactions due to the way our consultants set our actions for hire, assignment changes and position changes.

As we could not end-date the actions because we had active employees using these action codes, we decided to create new actions, and labelled the old actions as "DO NOT USE".

Now, we are trying to set seniority dates using fast formulas based on action codes, and we would like to update all our historical records with the new action codes to simplify the formulas. And I have the following questions:
