Accrual Clearing Rule not working for POs with 'Closed' Status

Summary:

We have defined an accrual clearing rule to clear accrual balances for POs with status "Closed", but it is not working as expected. I understand that for POs with "Finally Closed" status, we can use this rule by setting the PO Status condition value to "CLOSED".

However, it is not working for POs that are in "Closed" status.

Is it a functionality of accrual clearing rules that they do not work for POs with a 'Closed' status?
