Enabling a CSV file format in Oracle Analytics Server

At times, it may be necessary to run a product or custom report out of OAS in a CSV format. Since OAS does not enable this option by default, our product reports do not come with the option to run in CSV format out of the box. Here are the steps you can take to enable it:

  1. In the catalog, click "Edit" on the report you want to enable CSV output for.
  2. Click on "Data Model" at the top.
  3. Click "Properties" and enable "CSV Output", then save your changes.
  4. Repeat Step 1 (on the same report), then click on "View a List".
