Issue with the Redwood Position pages where the Department field not editable

Summary:

We are currently experiencing an issue with the Redwood Position pages where the Department field is not auto-populating upon selecting a Parent Position. Additionally, the field appears grayed out and does not accept any values from the drop-down list.

According to Oracle’s documentation for the 24B release, both Department and Business Unit (BU) should automatically populate based on the selected parent position. This functionality is working correctly in the Responsive UI, but not in the Redwood UI.
