Request a New Position - Shift & Budgeted Start Month Disappear

We are working on personalizing our pages through VBS and testing the redwood pages. When testing the Request a New Position page I noticed that after I select a shift & fill in budgeted start month the field disappears. Why might this be happening?

Shift & Budgeted Start Month are custom DFF for us.
