Not able to view seeded template at the seeded path after customising the report

I have customized the seeded template for the US Payslip report and it is present at the custom path:/shared/Custom/Human Capital Management/Payroll/Payment Distribution/US

While the customized template is visible in the custom path, we’ve observed that the seeded template in the original path:
/shared/Human Capital Management/Payroll/Payment Distribution/US is being overridden by the customized version.

To view the original seeded template, we are currently required to delete the custom template from the custom path.
Our understanding is that the seeded template should remain unaffected and accessible from its original location, regardless of any customizations made in the custom path.
