unable to cancel the invoice using rest api

Summary:

We have around 4k invoices to be cancelled, we are using the rest api

/fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/invoices/action/cancelInvoice

it is giving below error

"You can't perform this operation or action because the invoice is being processed for approval. (AP-810746)"

The same invoice I am able to cancel from UI it just ask me a question the approval workflow will be stopped if you cancel the invoice after clicking ok it cancels the invoice successfully

If anyone faced this issue and have any solution please let me know
