Will Supplier addresses be affected by the "Enhanced Address Experience"?

We in HealthPartners Supply Chain Services recently became aware that Oracle HCM is moving to Enhanced Address Validation which will affect Locations/Manage Locations to utilize Oracle's new Geographic table instead of Vertex's for a better "Enhanced Address Experience" to help with Employee/payroll validation. Will this change also affect the Supplier module and their addresses/validations? Currently, Supplier, we are using Vertex for our Geographic Validation.
Also, there has been no mention of this change in any of the SCM documentation, which I would hope there would be a notation as Supply Chain & Procurement Modules use the Manage Locations table to set up Ship-to & Deliver-to Locations for supplies.
