Hi Team,

We are creating a prepayment invoice and matching the same to Purchase Order document. While matching a prepayment invoice to the purchase order we are getting an error message 'The process Installment Creation or Recalculation failed because of an error. Contact your help desk. (FND-3)'.

  1. Create a Purchase Order
  2. Create a Prepayment Invoice and Match to PO Document
  3. Click on Save and Close button (Getting above error during matching)
  4. Pay the prepayment invoice
  5. Create a standard invoice and match to the PO Document
  6. Apply the standard invoice to prepayment invoice
  7. Pay the remaining amount to supplier using standard invoice
