Receiving Distribution

We have a situation where a Payables invoice is matched to a Purchase Receipt.

  • In the invoice line, the Receipt Number (211001129) is visible and matched.
  • However, when I check in Receiving Distributions or Manage Receipts, this receipt is not found.
  • The related Purchase Order shows all other receipt lines except this one.
  • I also searched from Inventory using the item number in that receipt, but no data is found.
  • In the Accrual Report, it shows the message “receipt not entered in inventory.”

Has anyone faced this before?
Why would a receipt still be available for invoice matching in Payables but not show up in Receiving/Inventory? Could this be due to:
