Unable to Revalue Asset Due to Adjustments After Effective Date

Summary:

We attempted to revalue an asset with an effective date of 01-Apr-2025 but were unable to proceed, as an adjustment was already made after this effective date. To address this, we tried the following approaches:

  1. Created a new asset identical to the original, keeping the DPIS same as the original asset, and attempted revaluation – but it failed.
  2. Created a new asset with details as of 01-Apr-2025, setting DPIS as 01-Apr-2025, and attempted revaluation – but it again failed.

In both cases, we encountered the following error:

“You can't enter this transaction because other transactions were entered for this asset after this date. The Revaluation transaction type for ID 65006 couldn't be completed for asset number 67969.”
