Oracle - GitHub Enterprise - Version Control
Oracle currently supports a GitHub integration for exporting artifacts, but this is limited to the public GitHub platform. GitHub Enterprise, which is widely adopted by organizations due to its enhanced security, collaboration features, and enterprise-level integrations, lacks a standard integration with Oracle. As a result, teams using GitHub Enterprise are unable to seamlessly export or sync Oracle artifacts to their repositories, leading to inefficiencies and extra manual work.
Furthermore, GitHub Enterprise supports Single Sign-On (SSO) via SAML and integration with Active Directory (AD), enabling centralized, secure user authentication. However, Oracle's current integration does not support this, meaning organizations are forced to manage separate authentication systems for Oracle and GitHub. This lack of SSO support not only complicates user management but also creates security and compliance risks.
