Data migration guidance for HCM assignment records

in Human Capital Management

As part of our data migration for HCM, we are loading two assignment records for every employee – (1) their original hire record as at original hire date with no enterprise structures data and (2) their current job details as at our go live date.

 

Both records will have the Action type “Hire”

 

Will this cause us any issue in the future, having two Hire records?
