201 Error on punchout connection and log suggests issue is caused by certificates

Summary:

Since 01/09 we have lost connection to a supplier punchout. We now receive a "There's an exception opening the URL connection or sending data to the punchout site. The error code is 201. (POR-2010663).

On viewing the log we see mention of certificate issues:

“Base Exception Error Stack oracle.apps.prc.por.createReq.protectedUiModel.shopping.punchout.common.PunchoutException: oracle.apps.prc.por.createReq.protectedUiModel.shopping.punchout.poster.RequestPosterException: java.io.IOException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target"

The supplier suggested we try refreshing our certificate cache - how do we go about this?

Howdy, Stranger!
