Error PER-1531626 – Cannot Add Contingent Work Relationship While Pending Worker Status Is Active

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue in Oracle HCM Cloud when trying to create a new Contingent Worker relationship for a person who currently has a Pending Worker status.

When I go to Create Work Relationship and attempt to add a contingent assignment, I receive the following error:

"You can't add a work relationship for this person because the person is still a pending worker. (PER-1531626)"

My goal is to have this person hold multiple work relationships—one as a Pending Worker (in process of being hired) and another as a Contingent Worker (already active in a different legal employer). However, the system seems to block this setup.
