OIC Suppliers FBDI vs REST Performance

in Integration 1 comment

Hello Experts,

Here is my requirement.

Third-party source system exposed REST API, which can return max 100 suppliers in one call, which I need to create/update/delete in Oracle Fusion Cloud. Each supplier has addresses, sites, contacts, and bank account details.

I have implemented REST api solution in OIC where I am calling Oracle Fusion Procurement REST api's and it is taking 35 seconds (excluding other actions' time, like staging the data, etc) to process one supplier(supplier creation, addresses creation, sites, contacts, address contact association) into Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Looking for other options to improve the performance, so tried with FBDI. Observation is once supplier template loaded in to fusion with ERP adapter I need to put wait activity for 11 seconds else the next import of addresses failing by saying supplier not available. Similarly, after creation of addresses, another wait activity with 10 seconds so that sites import is successful and another wait with 5 seconds for contacts to be successful. So it is taking 11+ 10 + 5= 26 seconds just for wait activities to see one successful supplier import in Oracle. Of course, these wait activities

Howdy, Stranger!
