New Visitor country via Web Data Lookup only captured after reload

Hi Everyone,

I’ve created a landing page using custom HTML with an Eloqua-integrated form. In the future, we plan to implement the same script on our website to capture form data. The script uses Eloqua Web Data Lookup (WDL) to capture the visitor’s country.

The issue I’m facing:

• On the first page load for a new visitor, the country data is not captured in the cookie.
• If the visitor reloads the page, the country data is then captured correctly.

Has anyone experienced this behavior before? Is there a way to ensure that visitor data (specifically the country via WDL) is captured on the
