Assigning the existing inventory organization to the new Business unit

we have a requirement to create a new Buisness unit, ledger, Legal entity because of a mandatory requirement to change the currency of the country. Business is insisting on to keep the existing inventory org and assign it to new Business unit. Please let us know your suggestion and let us know if it is fine from inventory, costing, manufacturing and finance perspective as we are changing the currency from leva to Euro.
