Position Synchronization – Multiple Incumbents Manager Selection
In our HCM environment, we have a case where two employees are assigned to the same parent position. During position synchronization, the system automatically selects the employee with the longest tenure in the position as the manager.
For example, one employee is on maternity leave and her replacement should act as the manager. However, the synchronization still assigns the more tenured incumbent as the manager, rather than the acting manager.
Is there a way to override this default behavior so we can explicitly define which incumbent should be recognized as the manager during position synchronization?
