How to modify Prorate Calendar for asset book

Summary:

Mistakenly defined monthly calendar on Prorate Calendar attribute in Fixed Assets book. Depreciation is setup for daily basis, similarly defined prorate conventions. Solution deployed on Production and 500K+ assets defined as part of upload activity. First month which has no new asset has been defined based on previous system values. Issue identify when new assets are added where date of service belongs to previous months.

As found on different document that in above condition cannot modify book's attribute Prorate Calendar (with 365 days calendar). What is the way to move on daily basis depreciation?

If need to create new book then can any quick migration available where all the assets with details moved to new books?
