Pending worker to employee, but no employee roles on Day 1

Summary:

We run into an issue on the start date of new employees. When they log in in the morning (European Central Time) on their first day, they do not show the employee role (or others).

The start date is correct on the backend (say for this example it is Sep 1, 2025) - there is a "Pending Worker" Record until Aug 31th, and then a "Worker" Record as of Sep 1, 2025. However, on the morning of the 1st, when they log in, they appear to not have been changed to "Worker".

I am sure there is some ESS job preventing us from functioning properly, but I am lost… Roles are updated every hour, so that cannot be it. Conversion from Pending worker to Worker is run at 00:30 each day (but since they are "converted" this cannot be it either).
