Community Managers Unable to process assignment from Learning ESS

Summary:

I am creating a Demo of communities in one of our Dev environments for our company ERGs. They want to see if Communities could be a good option for managing their roster and tracking event participation.

I created a community for the ERG in our Dev environment and added the ERG leader as the community manager. The ERG Leader's position in the Org does not give her access to My Client Groups. So the only way she can get to the Community is through Me Tab—>Learning—>Action Menu—>View My Learning Communities—>Communities I Manage—>Manage Button

But it doesn't seem like she can process an assignment in the Official Community for Required members when she navigates to it that way. Is there a way for a Community Manager to process an assignment to Required members from Learning ESS? She can add and remove members from there. But not process an assignment like you can through My Client Groups.
