New in Fusion Apps: External Key Management—Your Keys, Your Way

We’re excited to announce the general availability of theExternal Key Management Service (EKMS), the “Host Your Own Key” capability, for SaaS Fusion Applications.

What is EKMS?

EKMS allows you to store and manage your encryption keys outside Oracle Cloud usinga third-party key management system. This helps meet data sovereignty and compliance needs,while giving you greater control over your keys.

Cross-Region Replication for Disaster Recovery

To support advanced compliance and disaster recovery, we now offer Cross Region Replication in OCI EKMS, with initial integration for Thales CipherTrust Manager. This enhancement allows you to define and execute your own key management strategy, supporting your operations across sectors such as public service, critical infrastructure, and banking/financial services.
