Unable to find active department in requisition template

We're using Taleo Enterprise, version 25B.1.3.

I'm trying to update the department currently used in a requisition template. I can see the department is active if I go to Configuration / Administration / [Organization] Element Management. When I search for the department in the department field in the requisition template, I'm unable to find it when I search either by name or code. How can I locate the department??
