For Project Planning, can a resource be applied more than one Burden Schedule Version at a time?
Summary:
When planning a resource over a time period, I noticed when looking at the burden cost details it uses a single transaction date to provide the details and rates. How does the Financial project plan handle the burden costs as rates and multiple versions are created? Most companies update their burden rates on a yearly basis. When creating new Burden Schedule Versions, does the system utilize all of the versions for the applicable resource dates for planning? Or does it only use the burden schedule version from the first month/day tied to the resource?
As an Example we could have a resource planned from 10/1/24 - 9/30/26. Would the system always only apply the burden schedule as of 10/1/24 in the Financial Project Plan or would it consistently apply only applicable versions between 10/1/24 - 9/30/26 to make sure it's consistent with how actuals would apply during that period?
