Redwood Employment Contract: Validation rule written on Edit page is triggering on Add page
Summary:
We have implemented a validation rule on the Edit page of Employment Contract to restrict managers from updating contract details. The rule is designed to trigger an error when a manager tries to update the Contract End Date or Contract Type field values. This validation rule is unexpectedly triggering on the Add page as well.
Our requirement is that managers should not be able to edit contract details on the Edit page, but they should still be able to add contract details on the Add page without being blocked.
Is there a way to limit this validation rule so that it only triggers on the Edit page and does not affect the Add page?
