GDPR features (Person Data Erasure & Data Retention Management) not visible – any alternative soluti

Hello,

We are trying to set up GDPR functionality in Oracle HCM Cloud, specifically Person Data Erasure and Data Retention Management.

  • In Data Exchange, we cannot see “Person Data Erasure”.
  • In Setup and Maintenance, we cannot find “Data Retention Management”.
  • We already checked Opt-In Features under Workforce Deployment, but nothing shows up for Data Privacy.

Can anyone confirm:

  1. Are these eatures only available after Oracle enables them via SR?
  2. Do they require additional licensing?
  3. Which roles/duties are needed to access them once enabled?
  4. And finally — if these features are not available, has anyone implemented a different solution (custom process, reports, purge jobs, etc.) to comply with GDPR data deletion requirements (e.g. deleting absence data after 5 years)?
