Team Timecards view does not update notification icons, causing a mismatch

When a direct report submits a time card, the line manager receives a notification via the bell icon. However, there is a mismatch: rather than using the bell icon to approve or reject the time card, the line manager goes to My Team → Show More → Team Time Cards to perform the action. Even after acting on the time card there, the notification remains visible in the bell icon, which causes confusion. Has anyone got a solution for this?
