Maximum number of Oracle Epm groups in EPBCS

In our EPBCS application, cost center hierarchy is very big. Client is saying as per their existing Planning budgeting system, they might need user security to be applied at individual cost center level. For example, one user might have access to 1 or 2 cost center only under a specific hierarchy. In that case we need to create a group for that cost center segment and add that user in that group. In this way number of groups might increase a lot as our CC hierarchy is huge.

I want to know, will there be any performance issue if number of groups go beyond certain value in EPM? we might be having 1000+ groups in this case.
