Change base currency of parent entity rollup

Hi ,

We have a situation wherein the base currency defined for a parent rollup (lets say A) in alternate hierarchy is USD whereas, the child of entity A (lets say B) has base currency INR.

Since there is only one child entity under A, Business wants to see the data for A at entity currency member in INR (base currency of B) instead of USD. The data is already present for these entities since last 7 months. Is there any way to change the base currency of parent entity A to INR, without impacting the historical data? Also what other impact we may see in the data after updating the base currency to INR?
