OTBI How to filter column YTD

I have a formula-based column that is based on other columns, and a table prompt using Accounting Period Name. I am trying to make this column to show values in Year-To-Date, based on the year of Accounting Period Name promt. I tried adding a filter on Accounting Year in the formula, but that did not work. How can I make this column dispay values YTD based on the year in the Accounting Period Name table prompt?
