Possibility of limiting the time interval within the user can carry out a certain action

Hello everyone!


Is there the possibility of limiting the time interval within the user can carry out a certain action (maximum 90gg) and related insertion of a potential blocking message to signal the limit to the user? Is it possible to do this via autocomplete rule? If so, is it the only way or are there alternatives?
