We want to make you aware of an issue affecting Non Federal Fund (NFR) configurations when the available fund allocation amount drops below the configured minimum. This can impact eligibility calculations and overall system performance.

Background & Issue Summary

A performance issue has been identified when the NFR fund allocation remaining amount balance falls below the configured Fund_Minimum_Amount. This condition can render an NFR fund ineligible and causes the system to trigger multiple, complex recalculations of student funding eligibility before final packaging. These repeated recalculations can negatively affect packaging performance.

How It Works

• Each NFR, for each award year, is assigned a configured minimum amount (as defined in the NFR_ATTRIB.csv).
