Payroll Activity Center, Costing Comparison tab, Payroll Period Details section dates

Summary:

In the Payroll Activity Center, under the selected Payroll, and under the Costing Comparison button and the bottom expanded section of the screen called Payroll Period Details.

I need confirmation that the Payroll Period Details section are to be the NEXT pay period, not the one just processed.

It appears it is showing the current pay period but our payroll team believes it should be displaying the next upcoming pay period versus the current pay period but I cannot find any specific documentation noting that.
