Upgrade to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management (IAM)

edited Sep 24, 2025 1:20PM in Applications Security 2 comments

Oracle Fusion SaaS environments are due for an upgrade to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management (IAM). We have LBAC enabled and SSO/Local login users.

There are few questions:

  1. How can I find out when will my environment will be upgraded? We need to confirm with security governance of the organization.
  2. It is unclear from the documentation, at what level LBAC applies? Does LBAC applies to everyone who tries to access the environment and then SSO/Local login?
  3. With SSO enabled (along with local logins) and if we enable MFA for a set of users, will they need to authenticate with SSO or Local login and then again an MFA authentication?

Howdy, Stranger!
