Create Drill region

Client is trying to drill back to workbench via SmartView. We have enabled Create Drill Region in our integration options and loaded the data. I am able to drill back to Workbench utilizing smartview. I am not using SSO but client is. When client performs same steps, nothing happens for in the browser. They are using Edge and we have already downloaded the extension for this. Is there anything addition that needs to occur for Create Drill Region and SSO?
