Why does the "asset inquiry" screen display duplicate assignments

See attached. In the attached example, Distribution Identifier "296059" repeats 3 times. Should it only appear once?

I do not have access to the source code. But I suspect the grid view's SQL has a bad table join that causing a one-to-many relation and thus displaying duplicate entries.
